Nzube Ufodike, Managing Director
Nzube is an entrepreneur. His professional experience covers entrepreneurship and finance. He founded Amoo Venture Capital Advisory in 2009 to support start-ups seeking growth capital. Previously, he worked in front office roles in global investment banking and asset management desks covering fixed income, portfolio management, risk, strategy, macro economics and client relationships. In addition to attaining a first class undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, in his second year he was awarded the Drapers Company prize for outstanding academic achievement. As part of Nzube’s commitment to building strong and healthy communities, he volunteers and works with community-oriented projects that invest in developing human capital and nurturing talent by serving as a board advisor to SIFE, QMUL chapter (an international non-profit that works with leaders in business and higher education), and to MoDiSe (focuses on health care delivery for underserved urban and rural populations in developing countries). He is also a speaker at and organiser of events for start-ups in London and West Africa.

Alexey Buditskiy, Investment Director
Alexey holds a PhD in Economics from the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation and MBA in Finance from Durham Business School, Durham University, UK. He co-authored the book “Market Valuation of a Commercial Bank” and has written numerous articles on Finance and Management in leading academic and trade journals. Alexey has extensive international experience in corporate and investment banking, research and consultancy across different sectors (technology, telecommunications, energy, metals and mining, alternative assets) with leading financial institutions in OECD and Emerging Markets countries. He is a Member of Advisory Board of Durham University Business School and Freeman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers.

Henry Gata, Financial Accountant
Henry holds BA in Accounting with Statistics from Middlesex University, UK. He also is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Henry has more than four years of experience in corporate tax with leading UK financial services and investment management institutions. He brings accounting and corporate tax knowledge to the team.

Vanessa Awong Eya’a, Associate
Vanessa is a Credit Analyst within the Fixed Income team UBS Global Asset Management. She is responsible for investment grade Global Autos. Prior to this, she went through the entrepreneurial route and set up an online publishing company. She started her career as an Analyst at BNP Paribas in New York, covering Industrials. She has a master degree from EDHEC Business School, in France.

Sherene Jose, Associate
Sherene graduated with honours from National University of Singapore with a major in Computer Engineering & a minor in Entrepreneurship. She worked with an early-stage mobile technology start-up tenCube, now acquired by McAfee. She also co-founded ProtectedCC, The Kerala Standard and a non-profit policy think tank Global Young Indian Students & Professionals. She is a member of various tech entrepreneurship networks in London. Sherene has also worked in Product Control at Credit Suisse & Standard Chartered Bank and has completed the CFA qualification (awaiting charter). She is on the Board of Radicle, a registered charity in London. She is presently pursuing her MBA at London Business School. In her spare time, Sherene enjoys backpacking, writing, volunteering and theatre.

Enock Koola, Analyst
Enock is a Sales and Research analyst at Amoo Venture Capital Advisory. Prior to this, he interned at a Family office based in South Africa. He has an undergraduate degree in Finance and post-graduate degree in Investment Management. He is studying towards his CFA qualification. He enjoys a game of football, basketball and he is a Manchester United fan.
